Even though the following are just words, they are words that I will back in action.
I realize fully that my life to this point has been partially wasted to empty words, and I will use this realization to become the person I say I am.
First, when I say that I am going to do something, I will do it. Not once or twice, but perpetually. this kind of credibility will serve me well for the rest of my life. Along the same lines, I will be completely honest in every way.
Second, in everything that I do, I will do my best. I can never settle for being mediocre. If I am not my best, I will regret parts of my life. These regrets are unacceptable.
Third, I wil only use my time in pursuits that will make me better. Wasting my time in trivial pursuits will again lead to regrets, which are unacceptable.
Fourth, I will learn from my mistakes. A mistake will hereby be defined as any time that I failed even though I tried my best, not when I barely tried at all. to fail is only human, but to fail for lack of effort is stupid.
Fifth, I will buy and keep only what I need. Having extra stuff will not make me a better person, it will only weigh me down.
This manifesto will be constantly changing as I change, but I will hold to these ideals, for self-improvement is a life-long pursuit.
